Directions:
AS AN AID IN THE PREVENTION OF ACETONEMIA (Ketosis): Depending upon history of severity of ketosis and upon size (breed) feed at the rate of 0.25 to 0.50 lbs. (4 to 8 oz.) of Propylene Glycol per head per day beginning two weeks before freshening. Continue feeding for 6 weeks after freshening. Mix with feed or use as a drench.
AS AN AID IN THE TREATMENT OF ACETONEMIA (Ketosis): Depending upon severity of ketosis feed at the rate of 0.25 to 1.0 lbs. (4 to 16 fl. oz.) of Propylene Glycol per head per day for 10 days. Mix with feed or use as a drench.
NOTICE: Some cows may not respond to treatment as a result of complicating factors, such as milk fever, hardware, etc. These conditions must be treated in conjunction with the acetonemia. Consult your veterinarian if in doubt.
