Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer 1gm packets will treat 10lbs of body weight in DOGS ONLY for the following diseases / parasites:

• Roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina)
• Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala)
• Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis)
• Tapeworms (Taenia pisiformis).

The daily dose for Safe-Guard Canine is 50 mg/kg (22.7 mg/lb) of body weight. Give Safe-Guard Canine to your dog by mixing the daily dose with a small amount of the usual food. Make sure your dog eats all of the medicated food. You may need to moisten dry dog food to aid mixing. Repeat the daily dose for three days in a row.

Approximately 1% of dogs had vomiting associated with the use of this product. Safe-Guard Canine Dewormer has no known interactions and is an ideal complement to monthly heartworm prevention products, which may not protect against all four major types of intestinal worms.
